how to connect dataone in fedora 7

Hello,
I want to connect the dataone in fedora 7. I m currently using dataone in winXP by a bridge.I have a desktop icon which asks for user name and password to connect to the internet. But i m unable to do the same connection in fedora 7 even after trying several times 
. please help me to connect the net in fedora 7

go to your Fedora Terminal ( Applications->Accessories) and type sudo pppoeconf
now follow all the steps.. to switch on internet type
pon dsl-provider
to switch off , type
poff
