  • Take your browser and type 192.168.1.1, thats how it normally works, i hope its the same for you also.
  • Then type in your username and password, that would be 'admin' by default for both!

Follow the steps

Before u have to type theIP & DNS in the network connection in the control panel by rightclicking on the ethernet in the IPV4 properties type the IP & DNS given by ur ISP , then click apply ok

then next
Its like PPOE method

1) type 192.168.1.1 in the browser
2)then click the ppoe method dont give the username there just complete the setup by clicking next & next
3)save the setup -> close the browser

come to control panel

click the network icon -> then in the left side u ll see create new network connection . click it , go next PPOE method in thats u ll see the username & password type it then save it in the desktop

go to desktop click the save icon then press connect -> DONE

No, i dont think it will corrupt the configuration just by going through the options. But make sure you make a neat backup if you're intending to change any of the options.

There is an option given at the bottom of the left menu that will help you to backup the configuration setup easily. I used to do it whenever i was about make any changes. I hope your modem program is also the same. Just go through the options and you'll definitely get it.

Good luck!
