Hello friends,
I have a doubt regarding the speed in which a site loads. One of my clients wants to make his site load fast. Currently site loads without that much delay, i checked that by myself. But i was wondering is there any way i can make it load very very fast. You see, the yahoo site, for example, loads very fast even with all the widgets they have installed in it.
So my question is, what all mechanism can one use to make site load faster and perform better? Is there any tool that can be of help in this matter?

That depends on the size of the main page also. Yahoo using javascript for their widgets so that they load faster. They have some standards to help web developers achieving this. So just check this out. It might help you.

Install YSlow (it's related to rajkumar's last link) that analyzes your webpage load time and suggests you modifications. You'll get the best load times if you follow those rules.
Thankful users: johnsamuel

Ofcourse. Just go for dedicated hosting instead of shared hosting. It'll help speed up the site loading. Also choose one with 99.9% uptime.
